Winners of Innovation Awards Agritechnica 2023 

One Gold and 17 Silver medals – 218 world premieres – 24 world premieres from the Netherlands

The DLG (German Agricultural Society), organiser of Agritechnica, the world’s leading agricultural machinery exhibition taking place in Hanover, Germany, 12-18 November 2023 has announced the winners of the gold and silver medals of the Agritechnica Innovation Awards 2023. Receiving 251 entries of which 218 were approved as world-premiering innovations, the jury awarded one innovation with the gold and 17 innovations with the silver medal. Over 20 world premieres were received from the Netherlands.

With more than 15,000 visitors at the last Agritechnica and some 140 exhibitors from the Netherlands this year, Dutch participation continues in the top five.  

For the first time, a Dutch country pavilion has been registered. Located in Hall 25, the pavilion presents innovative companies from the Netherlands, comprising smart farming startups and scaleups offering drones, mobile robotics as well as cleaning, handling and optical sorting equipment for potatoes and vegetable crops displayed in the pavilion organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Brabant Development Agency (BOM).

Visitors can explore the exhibitor database, a list of the 2,700 exhibiting companies from more than 50 countries.

The exhibitors will be filling 24 halls with farm equipment, from tractor, tillage, sprayers and combine harvesters to digital solutions, field robots, drones and operator assistance systems. The halls are logically categorised according to product groupings. The Agritechnica app, which is free and is available in recognised app stores, Google Play and App Store, allows route planning, bookmarking exhibitors, noting appointments in advance and downloading of product kits using an inbuilt QR scanner at the exhibition.

Agritechnica 2023 is expected to attract 400,000 visitors from some 100 countries. With the theme “Green Productivity” denoting how new concepts and pioneering innovations ensure agricultural productivity while protecting nature, climate and the environment, Agritechnica’s technical program offers numerous presentations on farming topics.
